It means maintaining your standards even when no one's watching.
Being a pillar when the pressure is highest — and staying calm when the team starts to lose confidence.
You don't become a leader by what you say — but by what you do.
And most of all, by how trustworthy you are in the moments when everything is on the line.
After years in top-level sport, I've realized that experiences matter most when they're shared. Victories, setbacks, pressure, teamwork, split-second decisions — all of it shapes not just the player, but the person. And that, to me, is the foundation of true leadership.
Leadership isn't about a title or a position.
It's a daily choice — how you act, how you influence those around you, and how you show up as a source of support.
Together with my team at THE PLAYBOOK HOUSE and with Luboš Kastner and Jiří Panuška from BC21 and ČERVENÝ JELEN, we founded GLOW21 — a project designed to help people grow, discover their own leadership style, and succeed in whatever they do.
I'm grateful to be a part of this new chapter.
Because even off the pitch, you can be a leader — if you're willing to start with yourself.
Leadership isn't something you learn from textbooks. You learn it through practice, in tough moments and in everyday work with people.
When I speak to corporate or institutional teams, I share my experiences from top-level sport and the kind of leadership I've encountered, not just on the field, but in life.
Every talk is tailored to what the team is currently facing. And above all, I aim to create an open dialogue that offers both inspiration and practical ideas for everyone's own leadership journey.
When people hear the word leadership, many imagine a manager in a boardroom. But I've seen true leadership most clearly in those who care for others every day — in hospitals, schools, military, social services, or non-profit organizations.
Leadership isn't about a title. It's about how we inspire those around us, how we hold the team together in tough moments, and how we offer hope and motivation — even in the hardest of times.
That's why I'm proud to share my experience and inspiration through the GLOW21 Pro Bono program — exactly where it's needed the most.
